things i need to accomplish by leaving early for my ride tomorrow
1. Breakfast

2. Bandages to cover the REALLY FUCKING ITCHY RASH I HAVE FROM THE SNAPS INSIDE THE SLEEVES OF MY BIKE JACKET

(I'm allergic to metal sometimes -- nickel gives me a rash that looks like poison ivy.)

i feel: bitchy ITCHY!

I can't get at the snap head; it's inside the mesh lining.

I might do the arm warmer thing, but I'd rather not, because there are whole expanses of my forearm that aren't effected, and I'd like them to stay cool.

that happens to me. I used to paint my jewelry with clear nail polish.

Which I would do, but the snap head is inside the mesh lining. :-(

Sew a fabric patch on the mesh lining? Sympathies about the blisters -- OUCH ITCH!

It's not really worth going through the gyrations, as the sensitivity is not a constant -- sometimes ain't nothin' happen atall. It's weird, because the other sleeve is exactly the same, and the rash isn't near as bad on the other arm!

ah boo. I wasn't sure if it would work anyway but that's the only thing I could think of.
I really hate that allergy. It's just plain stupid.

That's about what my waist, neck, and under arms/wrists look like after a day wearing wool. Not QUITE as bumpy perhaps. Fortunately the irritation goes away quickly for me, but I've never been able to follow why wool allergies supposedly don't exist!! :)
That sucks that you can't get to the metal through the mesh so that you can at least block it.
