... four to go. I finished my cousin's husband's (there really needs to be a better name for that relationship) hat last night, and it's super cute. I think I want one for me. I made it out of Brown Sheep Naturespun, using Charcoal as the main color and a lighter grey as the contrasting color, and I used two of the fair isle patterns from Vinter Lue. It was so much fun! And the whole thing only took about 6 hours. I did a sort of beanie thing instead of making the brim turn up, and it's very sexy.

So I have to felt two bags, three pairs of slippers, and a hat between now and next Thursday. I need one of the bags for Saturday, I need to finish one of the pairs of slippers (maybe an hour's work) knit the other pair, finish a pair of socks, and finish a scarf. I'm totally stalled on the scarf, to the point of buying more yarn to knit a different one (didn't work; I ended up not liking the yarn). I'm going to have to knuckle down and just finish the one I started. I have this paper cut right where the yarn runs, though, so I'm not enjoying it at all.

I hate scarves. I love socks. Bleah. I'm hungry.

i feel: hungry hungry

cousin's husband's (there really needs to be a better name for that relationship)

When vocabulary fails, apply existing patterns instead. Clearly you are talking about your cousin-in-law. :-)

Isn't that my cousin's child, though?
