The first sleeve is attached. Is it just me, or does it seem weird for the length of a sleeve to be almost that of the body of the garment? The total length of the sweater is 13", and the sleeves are supposed to be 11" long (9.5" of sleeve and 1.5" of ribbing). Does that sound right? I stopped knitting when the sleeve itself measured about 8", and did 1.5" of ribbing. I bound off, but left a really long tail and didn't weave in the ends so I could rip it out and redo the sleeve if I want to. Blah. I hate second-guessing myself.

Pictures will be forthcoming when I get a chance.

really, it may sound wrong, but is probably right.
babies are much more dwarf than midget-like.
that is to say, their bodies are not in 'proper' proportion yet.
it's a beautiful sweater, by the way.
