I got Mom and Sis's first fittings done for their dresses. They're really going to look nice. I need to baste in the first alterations and rip out the original seams, which I was not intelligent enough to do either in a basting stitch or a contrasting thread, thus reiterating my refrain of "Pretty, but not too smart." Oh well. Ripping seams isn't that bad.

I'm just at a loss as to what to do next. I could...

  • Go cut out and start assembling a tunic

  • Do the first set of alterations on Mom's dress

  • Go sew some more on Wolfie's tunic (which is a bit more social)

One thing in favor of working up here in my workroom is that the halogen tracklights make the room nice and toasty, and I'm cold. But I'm also feeling a bit needy, and want to go downstairs with Wolfie, so I'll just grab a sweater. (If he goes to his drawing board, though, all bets are off, and I'm likely to end up here with my own personal heat lamps.
