very very cranky indeed
I just got back from "lunch". I decided it would be a good idea to go run some errands: bank, post office, butcher's for my lunch. Silly me.

To start with, they're tearing up streets all over town, which fucks up the already abysmal traffic situation. (I don't have air conditioning in my car, BTW, and it's hot and humid outside which means I don't breathe well.)

Then I got to the bank, to deposit my paycheck, which the temp agency cut with my married name on it. This wouldn't be a problem, except that I haven't changed my name with the bank yet. So I decide to go inside, and talk to a teller. I was there for ten minutes, they waited on exactly one person from the queue while I stood there, and I watched two tellers walk out to go to lunch while there were six or seven people in line. I finally said "fuckit" and deposited it through the ATM. Hopefully it'll go.

The PO was no problem, thank goodness, nor was the butcher (PIE!), but coming back it was just so fucking hot... I couldn't draw a decent breath. I don't shed heat well at all. I'm sweaty and cranky and I wanna go home.

i feel: cranky cranky

I haven't had problems depositing via ATM - I usually just signed with both names.

That's what I did. I wouldn't have worried about it, except that my signature changed, too.

They make pork pie, but it's a little too juicy. The last time I had one, it drooled all over me, and I wanted to stay clean for work. They make lots of pies. Pork and chicken and reuben, and chicken and broccoli, and hamburg and onion, and kielbasa, and tomato and pork and sometimes there's turkey! They make their own sausage, too, and I can highly recommend the bangers. Yum.

I hate when banks do things like that.

My bank generally doesn't care who puts money into the account- just who takes it out.
