Wossername apologized. It was an off-the-cuff, tossoff sort of apology, but then I don't think she realizes how close I came to quitting. Maybe then she'd have groveled appropriately and actually felt bad about treating me the way she did. I doubt it, but hope springs eternal... or at least, it's nice to fantasize about.

I was planning on getting up in time to shower and eat brekky -- I got two new cereals last night. Brown Sugar Total (NUM) and Kashi GoLEAN Crunch (also NUM, but slightly les NUM than the Total. I have a sweet tooth; so sue me). The theory is that the fiber in these cereals will fill me up for a small caloric intake. It's a decent theory.

I woke up at 8:23. I forgot to set my alarm. I made it out the door by 8:30. No shower, no brekky, but I made it to work by 9:02, before the folks go here for the meeting. I didn't get to go to the post office, but day-um, Rte 3 is quicker than Rte 111! Can't go 80 mph on 111, that's for sure. Except for the fact that I can get to the post office easier from 111, it makes more sense to take Rte 3 on the way in the morning. On the way home, though... Rte 3 and 495 can be nightmarish. Even if it takes me longer on 111, at least I'm moving. I'm still impressed with myself for getting in here so quick, though.

So tonight maybe I'll have a bowl of cereal for dinner, who knows. From reading the Kashi website, though, their cereal is uber-good-for-you. I can work with that.

Hi - and snackies that taste sweeter than they really are...

Hi - I think Kragore mentioned you were coming to Pennsic?

She's camping with us, and I made a bazillion dehydrated strawberries this year. Please stop by for a sample - the "dehydrator cookbooks" that say it's a waste are all wrong, according to our friends...

Best wishes,
Aislinn

Oooh... nummy! Where are you camping? I'd love to try them. I'm with Strawberry Fields (heh) on B06. Ought to be interesting camping on that side of the battlefield... not to mention quieter, being that far from I-79. And it's my sweetie's first Pennsic!

Ten days! Yay!

oh... wait... ten days. Oh shit...

It's either E02 or E03 - I think they changed it last year. Anyhow, Clann O'Choda, near the solar showers, and so close to 1-79 the Cooper's Lake sign is IN our encampment.

Please feel free to stop by!
