Seriously.

In grad school I belonged to the Seminary Co-op bookstore. Which once a year would send out dividends based on how much you'd spent in their shops over the year. Which meant, they'd tell you how much you spend on books. And it came out around the same time as I was doing my taxes... so I'd learn things like "I spent more than 10% of my taxable income last year on BOOKS."
