one hundred and two days - when you don't know what to do...
do the next thing
one hundred and two days
That's how many days I have left here, give or take a day.

I had an email exchange with the S-1 (admin guy) yesterday, and he said that upon reviewing my documentation (ie, reading my various and sundry sets of orders), he was shooting for redeploying me to the US around Feb 28-Mar 1 2006. I'll demobilize at Ft Dix, NJ for a week, and then I'll be on terminal leave for 37 days, after which I am a free woman.

I want to try to go back on orders for another year in October, but I want to stay in CONUS (CONtinental United States). The money is good, and there are excellent health benefits. We'll see how that works out.

But as of today, the sun is shining and yet it's still cool, and I have 102 days left here.

i feel: happy happy

That's wonderful! I don't know if I misunderstood an earlier post, but I had the impression that you were overseas until some time in 2007. 3.5 months is bad, but not as bad as that. :)

Eek! No, definitely not. I'll be home before mud season. :-)
