We went to see Cars tonight.  Everyone I know said that it was a hoot, and they weren't wrong -- it was hilarious.  Well worth waiting two years to see (I've been seeing trailers for this movie for eons).  The short at the beginning, "One Man Band," was adorable, and I wasn't surprised to see Brad Bird had a producer's credit, it had him all over it.  The Pixar trailers looked awesome, too; I think we'll definitely be seeing "Open Season" when it comes out.  How can you not love a bear running around with a teddy bear backpack?  I ask you.

I asked to forgo fireworks this year.  I just didn't feel like it, which is unusual for me.  Strange.  Haven't figured that one out yet.

Anyway, it was fun.  Next one to see, The Devil Wears Prada.  Meryl Streep as uber-bitch.  Yummy.

i feel: okay okay

Saw Meryl Streep and her young co-star on the View this morning.

Looks like a fun movie!

But, I like everything that Streep has ever been in.

Erin and I saw Devil Wears Prada.
We really liked it. If you want a detailed review let me know. I don't want to give details if that hoses a movie for you.

No worries; I've read the book. :-) (And Wolfie is willing to go, how cool is that?)

We went to The Devil Wears Prada on Monday night, and enjoyed it. Cars is next on our list, then Superman and Pirates.

I had the opportunity to see Cars at a small theater in rural PA before I went home from AC; it, the movie, was awesome. I immediately went on a seek and buy mission for the CD as soon as I got home. The acting was great, and the music was also top notch. (Actually, I've found that a lot of the songs actually fit a mood or two of mine following the con; I was never short of a catharsis.)
