this is so weird...
It's three o'clock on Friday afternoon. I am teaching two classes tomorrow. One, I have taught before. The other, I have never taught in public (I've taught my friends, but that's very different). Both have handouts.

The handouts are written, printed and photocopied. The roving for spinning class is bagged (and I just got another 3 pound box of the good stuff today!). The spindles are located, dusted (don't ask), and leaders spun on. All I need to do now is pack clothes and jewelry and class materials and get some decent sleep and get to the train on time. I might scamper out to WalMart earlyearly tomorrow morning, after darkwolfie gets home from work, and get some cheapy scissors and rulers so we can play paperdolls with the apron dress pattern, but that's about it.

I'm actually ready for the event, and I don't have to make any clothes or stay up all night finishing something.

Weird.

I just hadn't checked the mail yet -- it's here, and it's GAWJUSS. Thank you so much!

You're very welcome! I was a little worried about the glass leaves and the silver dingus at the top-- I take it they weren't crushed, then?

And I'm happy it's gone to someone who will get some use out of it.

...Use in the sense that it's totally unsuitable for my local weather. It's 90 degrees with bright sunshine here today, for crap's sake! In November!

It's been balmy here the past couple days. But right after I got home from work (just before 10pmCST) it started raining. Still warm, though.

Rain? What's that? Don't think we've had any since... March.

Ahh, southern California. Most people say they get weather. We just have climate. And maybe a little snow up on the mountains over there *waves hands vaguely northeast and at least a 2 hour drive away*

Yay for A&S classes! Yay for events!

Yeah, can you tell I'm in a bit of withdrawal?

But, I think I'll be able to go to Barony of Flame's Christmas Tourney (Louisville, KY), which is about 1.5 hrs from here. Easy day trip.
