110,000 miles.

5 years.

Over $12,000.

My Jeep is dead. The radiator went about a month ago, and since then, I've been trying to get it fixed. It was discovered two days ago that a valve had burnt, and it would cost over $800 to fix. Since it also needs other repairs to make it inspectable, it has been decided by the next of kin (me) to discontinue life support. Time of death, 4:45pm, 24 August 2001.

It was a good truck. A happy truck. A truck for all seasons, though it hated the summer as much as I did. It will be missed.

A Toyota Corolla can never hope to take the place of my Cherokee in my heart, though it will fit nicely in my driveway.

i hear: the sound of silence (no, really)
