workout giggle - when you don't know what to do...

workout giggle
Never thought that I would *gain* two pounds over the course of a 1 hour workout. (It's probably the water I drank.) (I think it's freakin' hilarious.)

I'm not going to be able to raise my arms tomorrow, but it's good to know that I'm stronger than I thought. I really need some lifting gloves, though.

i feel: good good

My weight often fluctuates several pounds (usually just a couple, but it can be as much as 5!) over the course of a day. It is incredibly annoying. I go through long periods where I lose and regain the same few pounds over and over again, without making any progress on losing additional weight.

In the past, this has caused me to go off the diet in frustration.

For the past few months, I've been trying to do a daily weigh-in at the same time every morning, and also keeping a food journal. (I had been weighing myself at the Y most weekdays, but not at all at home on the weekends, so I'm trying keeping a closer watch.)

I'd always heard that a 2-pound day-to-day weight fluctuation was normal. Well, it turns out that a 2 percent fluctuation is normal. Two pounds is 2 percent for people who are not overweight like me, but I'm not abnormal after all!

Keep up the good work!
