more nifty kindle stuff
I have discovered a couple of nifty things for my Kindle.

I can take simple knitting patterns and convert them to Kindle format and look at them on the Kindle when it's inconvenient to look at them on the laptop.

There are free public domain books available on http://manybooks.net.

Baen Books sells their catalog on a website called WebScription. I just bought a bundle of six books, including the
Trilogy, by Spider Robinson, for $15, and they're downloadable in several formats, including for the Kindle. I'm very excited. I'll have plenty to read on the long drive back to Massachusetts at the end of the month.

I just can't carry enough books to keep me amused -- I read VERY quickly.
