I want Chinese food. Or Korean. I think I may call darkwolfie and see if he wants me to pick some up on the way home tonight. I'd have it for lunch, but the only Chinese place near post is narsty. Haven't tried the one in Shirley, but I'm not in the mood to experiment.

Fried rice is easy -- you just get a packet of spices and a bottle of soy sauce from the grocery store, make a pot of rice (I like to use boil-in-bags, because then I can rinse it easily), then follow the directions on the packet in a frying pan. It'll tell you to add specific vegetables and an egg, but obviously you can wing that. I like onions and frozen peas and bean sprouts with ham, and I add an egg, but Wolfie doesn't like meat or egg in his fried rice. You could take the meat off the ribs and use that in the fried rice, or use it to make a stir fry, which is wicked easy, and a great way to use up leftover veggies in the fridge, too. We use carrots, snap peas, green beans, onion, water chestnuts, bean sprouts, and celery in a stir fry with chicken or beef. Yum.
