I got my mesh jacket today.

I took the liners out and went to Nashua to pick up some meds for Max (he's got some health issues going on that require a compounded medication, and there's a compounding pharmacy in Nashua that caters to pets as well as people), and it was like I wasn't wearing a jacket at all. In fact it was actually a tad chilly.

It has a "Two-Stage Aquatherm® liner" -- one liner is for warmth and the other is waterproof. I think this is the jacket that's going to Canada with me in August, because it will give me the most bang for the buck. The waterproof liner even has two zippers to make a seal so the rain won't go in through the center. It even goes better with my bike than my blue jacket or my pink one, though I love my pink jacket beyond reason. (I almost bought the pink mesh, but I thought that might be overkill.)

And it's light and flexible, much more so than any of my other jackets. I'm absolutely thrilled with it, and I can't wait to go for another ride so I can wear it. It's going to make hot days so much more bearable.
