Wolfie didn't get the job.

He's upset, I'm upset for him... I just want my guy to catch one lousy, stinking break. He's got amazing skills. He just needs someone to take a chance.

I promised him that everything would be okay. Now I have to make it that way for him. I'm not sure how, but I made a promise, and I intend to keep it.

i feel: crushed crushed

bummer

What a bummer!! I'm so sorry to hear that he didn't get it. My fingers were crossed for you both.

I'm sorry for both of you. There's got to be a bright side for this one. Since it wasn't meant to be, maybe there will be something for him right behind this opportunity. I wish the best of luck, even though it seems little consolation.

hello from Jessica (tornadowood.com/ramblingwarps/blog.html)

Hi Tasha: Sorry Wolfie didn't get the job... I'm a new reader of your blog, so am not up to date about what's going on yet, but will catch up later!

re: the Egeblad pattern you mentioned on my blog, I'll write a blog entry about it later with more answers to your questions as soon as *I* get some answers! I have the same question about yarn requirements since I have a skein of worsted weight yarn that I'd love to make into a shawl & MAY have another skein somewhere, but I'm not sure yet...so may not have enough unless I use another color as well (which might look ok or might look funny)..

Cheers! Jessica

Oh, heya! Welcome! (Things have significantly improved emotionally at home, BTW.)

I really enjoy your blog, which I found through Theresa's (At The Stillpoint of The Turning World), and then I found the link to your looms through Stacia's blog. They're lovely! I want to start tablet and inkle weaving, and one of your looms looks like it's in my future! Not sure when yet; we'll see where we're at when the tax refund comes in. :-)
