happy birthday...
...one day late to Rachel Elizabeth, my cousin's new daughter. She was born around 1am on Thursday, April 3rd, weighing 7 pounds, 2 oz. (We don't know yet how long she was; her proud grammie forgot to ask.) I'm so, SO thrilled for Jessie and Greg. Rachel is going to be the most spoiled baby around -- it's been 28 years since we had a baby in the family!

What to knit for her next... :-D

Yay new Auntie Tashabear! Well, OK, you're a first-cousin-once-removed, but I am "Aunt Emma" to my 2 cousins's girls. We just decided to go with the generation thing (my mom says it's Chinese). And little ones are such a delight to knit for. I have a friend who is going to be a daddy in June and he said he'd have to commission me to make something and I told him the first one is free -- because baby stuff is so fun to knit!
