posty mcposterson here with a crass commercial advertisement
I have access to swing latches and turn locks like you see on belt pouches, magnetic snaps, grommets, eyelets, rivets of a great many descriptions, all sorts of buckles and conchos (including some really cool Celtic and Norse conchos), snaplinks, dee rings -- if you're looking for hardware of that nature, I can probably find it for you.

I'm posting this here because there are more people reading this journal than read essexleather, who may be interested in purchasing these items. Drop me a message or a comment with a description of what you're looking for, and I'll get back to you with the best price I can find.

No no, I've been told it's actually "blood-sucking merchant scum" not 'money grubbing'. ;) :P :D

Ya know, I can't set a rivet to save my fecking life. I should probably learn at some point.... (yes, I laced everything on my armor when I fought, or purchased it premade. The only thing that had to have rivets set was my helm, which Wulfric the Black did for me...)

The ones I use require a setter, but it's not that expensive and it's really to keep the rivet cap pretty and domed. I can get you tools like that, too. :-D
