do the next thing
I had to stop knitting to finish my chart, when I realized I didn't know where to place my increases. These things happen when you're making your own pattern; you have to figure them out for yourself. Dammit. Hundreds and thousands of little dots on a big taped-together piece of graph paper... my eyes are crossing...

And my knitting bag got sugar syrup dripped on it (not on the contents, thank god), and it looks like someone spooged on it. A sponge will not fix this. I could empty it and put it through the washer, but I really just want a bigger one. eBags is singing a siren song...

eagle creek has some nice bags, including a series that's called a "flightbag"; tis HUGE and copious. i snagged one for projects on 50% clearance. woo.

the other suggestion i have is a courier bag. EMS used to carry some (i bought one on 80% clearance a couple years ago at least), and it's my bag of choice for projects. HUGE doesn't cover it. lots of sleeves and pockets for books and stuff. easily holds a lot of stuff, and it's somewhat spooge proof being a courier bag.

Now, see, you've hit on one of my weaknesses. I love backpacks and messnger bags. If I can't lose stuff in it, it's not the bag for me. Of course, this is totally counter to the way I tried to condtion myself earlier in life, but oh well. I seem to have developed a shoe thing, too. When did I suddenly become (more of) a girly girl? It's skeery...
